  1. I'm talking about peoples beliefs. just because you think it's taboo doesn't mean it's actually wrong. mother nature sets the rules. (as idiots say) god made it so. so are you against what god set forth? and no I'm not saying a 30 year old man should have sex with a 9 year old girl. but a 9 year old boy can get a 9 year old girl pregnant. if she wasn't able to get pregnant, then that means "god" doesn't want a 9 year old having sex. these are just medical facts. I'm not condoning a 9 year old having sex. what do you have to say about 12 year olds hitting puberty? that's nature saying it's time to start procreating. 30 year old women have a harder time concieving that a 13 year old. just something to think about.... what we consider "normal" isn't what nature considers "normal"
  2. sidi tends to run a little small/tight. I wear a size 11 in most running shoes and my sidi's are a 10.5. or do I have this backward? they run large?
  3. ever read a medical book? a human girl can give birth as early as the age of 9. nature (or god as some of you would say) says she's ready to have sex and kids. who are you to say what's right or wrong? some people don't eat cows either.
  4. yeah I seen this posted a long time ago and it was said to be a hoax.
  5. that's not as bad as the woman in cincy they found a few hours later after they picked her car up the night before. she was laying just a few feet away from where her car was towed away from.
  6. that's just something all sportbikes have. it's harmonic vibrations from the way the crankshaft's firing order is etc. the only thing that helps is the heavy bar ends.
  7. throttle bodies. he's looking for someone to synchronize them. unless it's not idling properly there is no need to touch them. it only affects the idle.
  8. ipad the phone? is that big enough to see?
  9. 1. I agree. 2. I do not agree. new riders need to be told they shouldn't keep up like that, I do not want to fucking poke around behind some newbie. I came to fucking ride. not pussy foot around. (of course the rides I go on are not the typical poker run ride. 3. not really but take them with a grain of salt. 4. kind of agree. but to a point. these two worlds can actually help you improve both on track and off the track. I find riding on the street is actually more mentally challenging. thus improving my reactions because of the many many obstacles. 5. wow, you need mental counseling.
  10. yeah I've been reading through it, it's not too bad honestly. almost like twist of the wrist but up do date with pictures etc.
  11. coming from someone who has a bunch of Haynes manuals...if it's anything like those, I recommend reading if purely for fictional entertainment.
  12. great story, but try switching a career.... that's what we are talking about here. you don't get a bachelors (in a new career field) from a good accredited school in 13 months. besides, not everyone wants to be a nurse. it sounds great until you have to clean the crap from someones back side.
  13. where do some of you get a person on unemployment is lazy? it's not welfare. they had a job. their job threw them to the curb like yesterdays trash. it's not their fault they are jobless right now. you can't get unemployment if you quit. and I think you can't get it if you get a simple fired. they have your employer fill out paperwork to prove you were working and are laid off. these people are not lazy. they are stuck between a rock and a hard place. until you are foced to be in that situation where no jobs in your line of work are available, you don't know what it's like being forced into the reality of having to give up everything you worked hard for just to take a job making what you did after highschool all over again. and we all know how shitty that is. and don't come back in here with the go back to school shit. you know god damn well how long it takes to get a degree and find a job. you are looking at 3-5 years easy. you got exactly 26 weeks without an extension, 53 with it. what kind of cracker jack box degree are you really going to get in 53 weeks?
  14. you ain't being friendly with that tone. I'm not picking on you. because I don't know you. but I am grouping you with the rest. which I know is wrong to judge people I don't know. but honestly, I wouldn't let any of you ride within 200 feet of me. some of you guys can't ride for shit. and that's why I won't ride with you guys and wouldn't recommend it to a newer or experienced rider. there are so many things I want to say.. and no, it's not about the "assfault junkies". it's more do to with all you new riders riding way above your experience levels. it's become a total squid fest. it's a good thing the route is spread out so far, otherwise the cops would be so heavy down there no one could ever go riding without being stopped by a cop again. sorry if I offend any of the regular assfault junkies that ride with a brain or in their experience levels. I just wish the rest of your members would. I'm no angel and niether is the guys I ride with, but we aren't picking up a bike every time we meet. and on the very first frigging road on the very first corner of that road. god damn it, if someone can't control it that early, I don't want that person to be anywhere near me on a ride. and that's what your group has become. it's not the older assfault junkie members. it's all you newer guys. you guys all act like a bunch of d-bag freshmen college frat guys when it comes time to go for a ride or when you meet up to hang out anywhere. I'd be embarassed to be seen with some of you guys. you guys aren't going to be able to keep up with guys like Mellow, or Gixxie750 . they're way above your skill levels. the sooner you guys realize it, the more fun the rest of the group will have. they wont have to stop every 20 miles to pick one of you up from a ditch. and everyone will go home with their bike in one piece. now, does it make you happy to hear what people are saying behind your backs? I've often been asked if I'm one of you guys by people I meet out riding. and you know what they all say when I chuckle and say hell no? cool, those guys are a bunch of idiot tool bags. it's too bad the older members are categorized with you guys. but, they did invite you guys to ride with them. it's you guys giving them a bad name. they're just trying to be nice and make new friends. I'd be more impressed with a guy that can check himself and keep his ego under control on a ride than the new guy with a new 1000 for his first bike screaming down 22 at a reckless pace trying to impress the guys riding up front just cruising along at a comfortable relaxed pace. and to the guys that show up high...that's just fucking getting out of hand if you ask me. you want to put yourself in danger go for it. but to get in a pack of other guys riding at highway speeds high is just fucking asinine.
  15. one year replacement and they claim they are the best? LOL shit ac delco batteries are 5 and 7 year replacement.
  16. aww, you hurt my feelings. (cough, yeah right)
  17. is this a ride with the assfault junkies? ehh...I'll pass.
  18. honestly they are only hurting themselves in the long run by waiting it out like that. you are only going to get so much period. they are just extending your standard 26 weeks to 53. after that, it's over for good. until you get a job and work for X amount of time.
  19. in these extrodinary times, it takes extrodinary measures. normally I would say it isn't necessary. but remember these folks were forced out of work. they didn't quit. they had a job. many of them have the hopes of returning to their job. yeah there are job openings going around but take a look at what 90% of them are. one word to sum it all up...shit. pure and simple shit jobs. take a look for a few weeks in want adds. the part that irritates me the most about this whole thing is folks think it's perfectly ok to send our tax money for foreign aid but it's not acceptable to help their fellow americans in their time of need. also keep in mind they are paying taxes out of their tiny unemployment checks. they aren't living high on unemployment. it's only like 30-40% of what they were making. it's no joy ride. and hardly worth staying on it.
  20. I'm not buying the pad thinckness crap. if that's the real case, why do they make the cut in the center (the cut that is for telling when the pads need replaced according to my bike's service manual) go almost all the way to the back plate? what happened to that pad is a simple failure of the material bonding to the back plate or the material is just junk. either way you slice it, they are a shitty brake pad. simple. if my pads looked like the one's brian posted, I'd never buy that garbage again. I mean look at them, they are crumbling away. that says to me they are junk. who cares anyway, what's done is done. just move on to something better... buy some Ferodo's and be happy. lol
  21. ask for Ray that works there. he's a good guy and used to own his own bike shop. he'll price match any tire price you find online.
  22. stop busting my balls because I like to bust balls.
  23. I can understand using one on a axle so you don't ruin the bearings or something like that. but really, all the other stuff isn't that critical. that's not saying you can stand on the wrench to tighten the pinch bolts or calipers. this is where common sense has to be used.
  24. if you can't tell when something is tight enough, you are one of those persons that shouldn't be using tools for a hobby or professionally. working on things requires common sense. if you really believe a shop uses a torque wrench on everything they put back together, you're dreaming.
