I worked there for oh...about 60 seconds. I applied for a job and got accepted. The week I was supposed to start, another head hunter called and wanted me to interview for a position in Beachwood. At first I wasn't interested..since I was just hired...but I figured what the hell. Turns out the second job was a better fit. I never looked back. Just so I didn't burn any bridges...I called progressive and told them a family member was gravely ill and I would have to move out of state to take care of them. Unfortunately, I couldn't start my position like I had planned. I'm not proud. It was the best I could come up with on short notice.

Same thing happened to me. I took my motorcycle insurance business to Progressive after that. I may give Allstate a call when it comes time to renew policies.

Agreed. They both have their pros and cons...but I like deep blacks and you can't touch plasma for that. Screen glare.... definite con. The one thing I wish you could get right now is passive 3D with a plasma. I'm not a 3D fan..probably because I've never really had it at home, but I can't see active 3D staying around forever. The cost of the glasses alone is ridiculous.

Yup..i know what refurbs and new panels are going for currently. I also there is a lot of shit out there that u can get at a good price. You get what you pay for. These panels aren't shit. If you don't like the price...make an offer. This is to no one in particular...just stating what might not be so obvious.

Both highly rated. Google the model #'s. Both are in like new condition, and come with the remotes (never used) and the original boxes if needed. I'm sure I have the manuals too (most likely in the boxes). I love both these TV's, but I'm hopefully closing on a new house in a weeks and when I move, they won't be coming with me. There are no issues with either TV, panel wise or exterior wise. These are 720p/1080i, but they do accept a 1080p signal. I have to stress the fact that the picture on these panels is awesome, and I'm very picky when it comes to my gear. Both have been fed a steady diet of PS3, Xbox 360, DTV and BluRay and haven't missed a beat. I've owned them about 3 years. I'm selling the 42" for $400 and the 50" for $500. Post any questions you have, or if you need more pics. I took these in low light with an average camera phone.

I agree with this article. OSU is in the best shape anyone could ever ask for, considering what happened. From having ineligible players play in a bowl game (REALLY?) to only a 1 yr bowl ban. Sounds like a winner to me. The only thing I see hurting them in the scholarships being taken away....the NCAA imposed on top of the self imposed. That might sting a little. I always thought Meyer took the job because he got some assurance that there would be no further serious penalties....and that he had a QB in Miller he could work with. I'm not discounting the OSU job being one of the top 5 in the nation....but who wants to walk into a shit storm of unknown handicaps for an unknown amount of years? I would LOVE to hear or read that interview if it exists.

Which is the reason why he took the job. Be careful what you wish for with Meyer. He was obviously the best pick for OSU..but when things aren't going his way 100pct or the odds don't favor him....he likes to run. Or have mystery illnesses pop up. Anyone have a link to that interview?
