Yeah..his health issue and wanting to spend time with his family? Health issues seemed to clear right up(I'm not making light of them...I'm just saying they magically don't seem to be a factor now), and I guess he had seen enough of his family. You can't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. He's a master of manipulation. I'm not saying he's a bad guy..I'm just saying he tells people what they want to hear and what HE wants YOU to hear. He's not the first, and won't be the last. Let me recap for you: Dec 9, 2009: Meyer loses the SEC championship and checks himself into a hospital for chest pains. Dec26, 2009: Meyer announces he will retire as head coach after the Sugar Bowl Dec 27, 2009: Scratch that...he'll take a leave of absence instead. Jan 1, 2010: Meyer wins the Sugar Bowl. March 17, 2010: Meyer is full time coach of the Gators. 2010 Season: Meyer is 7-5. Worst season under Meyer. EDIT: Meyer loses a lot of KEY talent to the NFL, and he's a ghost when it comes to recruiting at this point. Clearly, he sees the writing on the wall and instead of staying the course like most coaches.......see below. Dec 9, 2010: Meyer resigns from coaching.
