Also no chance to test ride due to monsoon season. Will start without choke. May have to drop down a step. Did a few passes up and down the road last night and was sort of disappointed because I didn't notice a huge improvement like all the other say I should. It does start very easy compared to Stock but it didn't really give a huge seat of the pants boost. Feels like it's not getting enough of something and I think there's plenty of fuel so I'm going to try it tonight without the airbox cover. Killer_kaw
Put some miles on the Connie. Still shaking out the suspension tuning but just about got it. Makes for a lot more confidence throwing it around. The suspension mods and ecu flash really woke the big girl up. Turns out shaftys really can unintentionally power wheelie. Custom seat is super comfy but with a 34” inseam I’m tip toeing at a stop so on the fence about that.

I’m hopping the bolsters on the side of the seat break in a bit. Will make it easier to get my feet down. The seat isn’t that high it’s more of a shape thing. what
Not today, yesterday. Oil change in Jacob, Jacob's dad and my XR. Fork oil change in all 3 XR. New front and rear tire put on my XR. Rear innertube replaced due to puncture. Broken spoke replaced on my XR. Catch-can half assembled out of PVC pipe. New numbers put on my XR. Pretty much ready to race this weekend. Big thanks to @jacobhawkins for turning his garage into an XR race shop.

With the Terrys seat and 55 tire I'm perfectly flat foot with zero knee bend. Edited April 19, 2018 by 2talltim
