Dear DHL, I'm extremely dissapointed in you.

Dear DHL,

I have trusted you and your services, through thick and thin, to get my packages to their respective destinations. Your prices are great compared to your competitors FedEX and UPS, you include tracking for free which is a blessing on its own, and you even insure my oddly shaped and sized packages without the bat of an eye lash. Now let me ask you why, in God's name, why would you lose the one package that counts most? I carefully packaged my coilovers with a declared value of $1,500 in a box that took days to find the right size. I even went as far as wrapping them in bubble wrap, packing peanuts and newspaper; you just had to fuck up and lose the 32x18x12, 98lb package.

I'm sorry, but I'm affraid it's over between us. I'm glad I knew to never trust you and insured my package anyways. henceforth, I will be filing a loss claims form to get my FUCKING money back, while I will still have NOTHING to put on my car to get it back on the road, thanks DHL!

You're an epic failure,

Andrew Farkas

Well, I'm still waiting to hear back from a, "Tracking specialist" about locating the package. I don't need a tracking specialist to know where it's at. Obviously tracking shows it arrived in Jacksonville, where it had to be scanned BY HAND, to be put into the system. Now, where it went from the time it got there to now, I have no idea. Maybe someone swiped the package after finding out what is in it?

Yes, for years the DHL guy had been going through packages, just waiting for the day that someone will ship shocks for an 80's Toyota. You have made one man's dream a reality.

Actually, it was for my infiniti..

Not that you could tell what car they were for by looking at them but they were probably 1 of 3 in the US right now.

For some reason your name sounds really familiar did you ever go to Devry or New Albany?

I went to Devry maybe a year or so ago, as well as my brother. I dated a couple bitches from NA, but went to Lincoln.

Last time I used DHL i had ordered some 12 gauge speaker wire, a 1000' roll from a company that i order shit from all the time. I got the spool and there was nothing on it; fail boat. I don't think that was DHL's fault though :)

maybe its me, but does the story confuse anyone else...you say at the end you now have nothing to put on your car to get it back on the road....but you were shipping them? to yourself?

Ha yea I was a little confused... mabey he sent them out to get worked on an then sent back to him I'm guessing

So will you get that $1500 if they can't find your package? I sure hope so. :(

I have never used DHL, merely because of stories like this. I've heard too many of them, thus I avoid them like the plague. For the money, from what I've found, the USPS is the best place to ship from...

+1 for USPS

I have shipped shit from here (Saudi Arabia) to the states and they are excellent, nothing lost or broken. I shiped a 75lb box of gear home and it only took 8 days. Shit takes longer to get from Cali to Ohio with UPS. So yea USPS FTW

United States Postal Service....so nice I don't initialize their name!

FedEx won't get it to you on time because they never bothered to pick it up.

DHL will send it to the wrong place or lose it entirely.

UPS will bend it into shapes that physics say are impossible, then blame you for "improperly" packaging it.
