I'll expect you to correct me when I do a math problem wrong.

My gf and ME.

you would not say, "this is a picture of I," therefore you don't say, "(this is a picture of) my gf and I."

you would say, "this is a picture of me," therefore it's correct to say, "(this is a picture of) my gf and me."

Actually Id like an actual english teachers take on this since "My gf and I." is not a complete sentence and only a phrase...it may be proper grammar since its in a nominative case.
