DaddyBuiltRacing
I enjoyed their food, wonder if they will rebuild it http://www.10tv.com/content/stories/2014/12/30/columbus-ohio-fire-erupts-inside-south-columbus-restaurant.html
Orion
Hope so, that place is an institution. Loved eating there.

RyM3rC
their fries are delicious, well were I'm guessing at this point they're a little too crispy, even for my taste. RIP deli
zeitgeist57
What's the stat...40%+ of businesses don't rebuild after a fire? If they don't come back, then hopefully another deli will do a Dagwood...
El Karacho1647545492
Tried the Dagwood challenge once. Quit after 8 minutes. Enjoyed eating all that food over the next 2 days.

excell
Really sad to hear about this. I heard on $localnewsstation (I forget which) that the owner said he's been considering retiring and this may just be the end. It would be like the Thurman closing. Zx2guy19
I REALLY hope they don't walk away. I did the dagwood challenge on December 1st, 2011 (showed my coworkers the picture today) and finished with about 45 seconds to spare. Puked in my mouth twice during it and ate my own puke, then puked in the parking lot after I got my picture taken. Ah, the memories. Me and a couple buddies were just talking about going there Saturday for lunch. Went to Los Guachos instead.
Coaster
Even if they rebuild something usually gets lost in the translation. The new location never seems to be as good as the old one. (and the prices usually go up)

cstmg8
Bummer, I'm glad I got to try it when I lived down south. I wasn't impressed with their other foods, but there deli sandwiches were delicious.

They are slightly expensive but the food is nommy-noms. Im pretty sure they could raise their prices and not loose any customers. Place is always packed. Thurmans needs to expand or something. It's absolutely ridiculous that you have to wait 2hrs no matter what time of the day it is, in order to get a damn burger haha. We have only gotten in 2 times, both times were on a Tuesday around 2pm, outside of that forget about it. My new favorite place to eat in Columbus is Planks on Parsons
Cordell
Didn't even know the place existed until I joined CR and some CR friends got me to go there, it was one of those places with a certain character to it that you just can't get in many places. It's a shame to see the news.

My new favorite place to eat in Columbus is Planks on Parsons I thought I heard they recently opened a small place in Delaware... but I kinda think the tinyness adds to the charm. Not sure it would be as popular if it was just another Max and Erma's size place.
