For the animal charity, I'm leaning towards CAHS. We'd be able to "adopt" an animal through them, paying for their food, medicine, etc while it stays at the shelter. As for cancer, I'm thinking Cancer Free Kids. What do you all think?

If they make an effort to come out to the bike nights, they deserve to get some love in return. DTC will be giving some love to them, need to talk to Fonz about it first

Vulcan_Rider
My favorite charity is the Fallen Riders Memorial Fund. www.frmf4t.com They help out the families of fallen riders after their loss. I do a couple rides a year for them and do some volunteering for them as well.
chevysoldier
Just throwing this out there, I have never been on a stop going to/from deployment, either overseas or states side, or getting ready to go on mission the USO hasn't been there to give out food, drinks, hygiene kits and the works. Having a group of them to welcome you home, to hug you and shake your hand and not even know you is...well, I have no words. But puppies are cute too. And children need help too, not trying to sound like an a-hole and forget them.

Big Green Valley
It should be no secret that I'm a big advocate of Flying Horse Farms. A charity that allows kids with illnesses the opportunity to just be a kid. Check out the 2010 Flying Horse Ride to Greensboro, NC. Police escort provided from Ohio to NC.As far as pets are concerned, I like Harlequin Haven, a Great Dane rescue in Bethel, OH. jagr
Anybody know anything about this group?http://www.hoagysheroes.org/index.htmLooks like we could have fun AND help out some kiddies at the same time. If we're going to choose between kids and animals I have to put my vote in for the kids. Animals are sweet' date=' but they're just animals. Children should ALWAYS come first.[/quote']I hear you. But I like animals more than people.
