Josh1234
Yep, with the veteran tag, because I have Navy pride. For those that don't know, the Yamaha YZF600R is called a "Thundercat" in European markets, instead of the letter/number designation. And mine is a 2004 Yes, I'm a dork for doing stuff like this... the Vet tag is really to maybe get me out of ticket one day, the tag itself is just to be fun Fun side note... I couldn't order zero-four-c-a-t because zero-four isn't a vanity plate... it's out there somewhere. I had to order the letter "o" then a four. Just can't tell the difference Those that like vanity plates because they're fun... rep it up

Josh1234
My car plates are J-zero-five-H-U-A J05HUA. Yep... Dork! I USED TO have ST34LTH, because the kind of car it is is a Stealth, plus the whole leet thing and being a 3-4 for E-A IS stealthly... but that wouldn't fit with the navy insignia Hence, J05HUA

jester3681
That's pretty slick, actually. Once I get my bike done, I plan on getting a vanity plate for it. The bike is my one luxury... I drive a 97 Sable so that I can spend a little cash on my two-wheeled hobby. :-)

Josh1234
How much is it to get one ?The BMV receipt says $50, but I'm not sure how much standard plates are... I mean, if standard are $25, for example, then it's only an extra $25.
Scruit
The $50 is the fee for picking your own digits. My bike plate is my first name and it costs $50/yr over-and-above the standard plate.

2talltim
It's an extra $25 if its an initial plate extra $50 if its a full personalized. I think an initial plate can be three letters and two numbers or just three letters or just two and three numbers.

Josh1234
Wait a second, aren't you the guy that posted this plate covering up thread non since? Yeah, I just think it's silly that people cover it up for an ad, but then ride around all day with it in plain view.
