Nope, I meant the clutch. If you look at the first pic of the actual Daytona you posted, you can see the similar lower fairing. They inverted the picture so now the stator (and subsequently the kickstand) appears on the right side instead of the clutch. It seems like they did a lot of photoshopping to get that to look coherent, imagine if they would have just taken the picture and left it the right way.

I saw this in a magazine a while back and keep forgetting to post it. The mag in the picture looks like it is some sort of triple or quadruple stack magazine. I have never seen one flare out from the mag well like that. Anyone want to shed some light on this?

I agree with all your points, I'm not sure what is going on with that pic. I also don't think the lower fairing is right, the cutout for the clutch looks all wrong to me

I have not taken mine yet (at school all the time, so I can't carry anyway) but I have looking into it a lot. There are plenty of ~$100 up here in NEO, but there is a $70 one that has a one a month class. I don't remember who does it, but I know I found it here (calender of a couple places and what they charge). I never think renting a gun is a waste because it allows to me try different firearms and find out what I like and don't like. When I do go, however, I will use my Sig SP2022 because I already own it and would like to get more familiar with it. If I didn't, then I would try to rent a gun that I am actually looking to buy or borrowing it from a friend.

You could do a lot of different electronic variations, but the easiest might be to just take all the grounds and put them through a spst switch to the chassis or battery (I don't know the wiring of the r6). Cut the ground, everything is out. You would still need to tape your lights at the track, but then you don't have to worry about heating up the adhesive and making it a bitch to remove the tape

I keep forgetting to ask for this one, but I think we need a squid smiley.

You can always put it up as a private video (i.e. a person would have to click on the link directly to be able to view it on youtube).

In some states, bikes are wrecked as soon as they touch the ground, but in Ohio its based usually on cost (how much the bike is worth and how much needs replacing, as well as if the frame is visibly damaged/scratched). The rationalization behind this is that its easy to bend the frame slightly, which it is. Most people ride around on a bike that isn't straight, but its close enough to go unnoticed. The only way to be 100% its not bent is to have it aligned, by a company whose name slips my mind right now (I believe they use lasers and GPS to determine straightness, or something along those lines). From a high-side, its probably bent a little, but not enough to worry about. Honestly, a first accident like this should not raise your rates at all. I was in an accident at like 17, was cited and there were insurance claims on either side, but my rates never went up. Many companies give you 1 accident because that's what it is, an accident, and they happen sometimes. How much are you against the idea of riding around on rashed fairings? To me, there doesn't seem to be a lot of damage judging from the pictures. A rearset is all you truly need if looks are not important (you only need 1 mirror for Ohio). To make it 100% like new, you're talking a lot more since it looks like there are a lot of parts with minimal damage (you only showed the right side of the engine, but it shouldn't need a cover). If you refuse to repaint/repurpose parts, then you will need a frame slider, swing arm, mirror, fairings (tail, upper, right side, tank), lever, weight and rearset. Again, I don't see pictures of the left side, so its hard to make a determination. I don't care much for looks, so I say replace the rearset yourself and ride; if she tracks true than your golden

The meet is usually at the Dairy Queen in Bolivar (448 Central Ave, Bolivar, OH)

+1, I have an excuse to stay indoors and reload and then go to an indoor range and stay out of the snow. I like all the threads on firearms, its easier to just come here and talk about some of my two favorite hobbies, guns and motorcycles, instead of going different places. The only thing we need now is a machining sub forum..

If a pro is trying a different bike, then at least go check it out and see if you can test ride. If you are that interested in buying one or the other, you will know when you get on it whether or not its what you want

A mint 2007 600rr is a steal at $4K, especially at only 4250 miles. Either way you are getting a good deal. I just got an '07 gsxr 600 in a trade and its taking some getting used to for me. I still like my 2003 600rr a lot better as the gsxr just feels a little off to me, then again it has AM clip-ons and I still need to play around with some stuff to match it better to me. I am learning about them now as I go, so I can't give you much advice especially on the 750

What did everyone wear last time? I usually feel pretty good, except for my fingers which get pretty cold no matter when when it drops below 60*

Anybody coming from the NEO area? I can take people if so

Still want to know if I can pay in cash or what I need to do to register.

Thanks! Quick sale, great guy and he keeps his stuff in A+ condition. I couldn't even tell some of his other stuff was used.

That is all I have to say

Another way most Kydex holsters retain a semi pistol is through pressing a little into the ejection port in the slide as well as the trigger guard. And I hope you mean 0.08" and not 0.80 for the thickness haha

Laser jammers are legal here in Ohio, radar jammers are illegal everywhere. Nice job getting off! That is always the best feeling; knowing you are screwed and about to get a ticket and miraculously don't.

I would like to play cards with this man on the weekend

Odds? Well, there are 13 diamonds, and 3 more unaccounted for aces so 16 total. So the odds are 16:52, or 16/52=0.30769 or 31% percent

This prompted me to do a little digging which I ended up here. In the first paragraph it states that "Private businesses are free to develop their own policies on whether or not to accept cash unless there is a State law which says otherwise." Intent is always hard to discern, however, the State law exemption seems to be there to allow States to prohibit private businesses from enacting their own policies. I think LA is taking advantage of this and saying that the State law is then defining their own policy for private businesses to follow, which is certainly not a power allowed to them. the legalese behind the real law might be different, but that is all I decided to delve into it. I should not be forced to pay fees for a credit/debit card or be forced to have my money in a bank where it could be lost.

That was a typo on my part, I meant CHL. I read about the ccw class in the op and never switched the acronym in my head by the time I typed. That answers my question though, thank you.
-
"THIS NOTE IS LEGAL TENDER FOR ALL DEBTS, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE" That is on every single dollar. How can a state law bypass a federal one; I don't even think this is legal.
-
When can I register by, and can I pay in cash when I get there? I would definitely like to get some better tips on shooting, need to improve my grouping for sure and offhand is terrible. Since the holster thing is optional, I should not need a ccw, correct?
