  1. Do you think you can tell, this helmet from Bell...?
  2. Not for the OSPS sponsored ones. Those go quickly, so it's in your best interest to sign up soon after the sessions are published on Friday.
  3. Very cool, thanks IP, I didn't know about those. Euro Bike Night's web site for anyone not on Facebook: http://www.eurobikenight.com/
  4. Better yet, go full subversive with it. This guitar destroys fascist empires.
  5. Good call. These are useful to get a sense for the edges.
  6. Sorry about the tone. I don't disagree with your advice (except financing a bike - that still requires market timing and for most that's a bad idea). I guess I was caught off guard by what looked like a presumption that the OP was still delinquent.
  7. Well now, aren't you a presumptuous prick. Sounds like self-justification and not at all smart considering the unpredictable nature of the market since 2008. OK, so you're showing off that you have cash and the ability to invest it and think the OP is a deadbeat. WE ARE NOT WORTHY!
  8. I've thought about it several times but wish they were lower profile when helmet mounted.
  9. We need some Daves, so I can sing the Kids in the Hall song.
  10. HeavyDuty, I know what you mean. I took my CB125S into the packed snow for 10 minutes at a time this week just to test out larger jets. Lol
  11. How in god's green earth has none of us yet made a single slushie or computer call center joke? Hey Casper, OR is broken again!
  12. Once I've fully farkled it, it'll be even easier.
  13. Ditto what Pokey said. Made wiring up top box lights and fog lights a breeze with the right harness adapters and fuses.
  14. Slacker. You missed a shot back at my Strom.
  15. Todd, I'll be frank. Based on what I've read, it sounds like a lot of sour grapes over a bike that wasn't really the one you wanted anyway, but you decided to come here and pitch a public fit over a couple hundred dollars, probably not expecting CCM to chime in, and then you went away to spend an extra, what, $7k on a different bike. That's cute. You accused CCM of deceptive practices with a tabloid-worthy topic header of "Clinton county motorsports bait and switch BBW!" but it sounds like you changed your mind about a detail, and CCM counter-offered, but it disapointed/surprised you. This kind of thing happens all the time in business and personal dealings as well - get over it. I'm sure you were disapointed, but based on your posts I'd put money that you didn't handle it perfectly either. Also, having bought a '13 DL650 during the same time, I can tell you that CCM's counteroffer was fair. You probably could have paid a couple hundred more at a few other Ohio dealers or a couple hundred less at others. Big deal - you could have left gracefully and keep shopping around, but instead you came here to vent your frustration. In any case, enjoy your Explorer - it looks like a fabulous bike and we'll likely enjoy pictures of it here. I'd love to see how much better a bike almost twice the cost of a DL650 is. Brad at CCM, I think there's a lesson fo you here too. Citing a "Christian-run company" is a double-edged sword and more often than not it distracts, detracts and derails. Let your faith guide you to be continually better, but let the ethics of your dealings speak for themselves. Social media. It has its upsides and its downs... - Scott
  16. Sorry, I've done I.T. for financial institutions for 15 years. There are more good-hearted people in banking than bad, but they don't make the news or fubar the economy.
  17. Including the ones who lend money to people wanting to buy motorcycle, cars, houses and college? Not every banker is Gordon Gecko.
