I'm getting my wife to get me full gauntlet gloves for Father's Day... Well, she brought up the fact that I just recently got full boots... I have been sending her these pictures as evidence to the fact that they are necessary... Lets just say she isn't bitching about the boots anymore lol

These are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned.

The side zipper is a treat.

So my teva sandals aren't good enough?

But my feet get sunshine and air when I scoot across cherohala and the gap.

Only way to not get hurt is to not crash. Improve your skills along with your gear.

This is why you don't ride and wear sandals....

If you are going to invest in boots, be sure to get ones that go high above the ankle. There are many that are advertised as "riding boots" but are only ankle high which will not protect your ankle from ending up like the picture in the OP and can come off in a crash. Even the high boots won't protect from everything but it mitigates the risk tremendously.
