Gixxus Christ!
Miss that place.
redkow97
Ken Block should film gymkhana 9 there.I recognize the major landmarks, but so much of my navigation there was based on the proximity of the rides. All the metal appears to have been scrapped. Without the "Texas Twister," I'm a little lost. Edited November 29, 2013 by redkow97
tall_tracy
I have a friend that lives close to the park, so I drive by it frequently. It's sad to see what it's become and to see that last remaining coaster standing there all alone. It's all overgrown and doesn't resemble what it once was... redkow97
I thought I saw the Big Dipper and the raging wolf-bobs.
o-no-moto
Its been closed for 6 years but why does a lot of buildings looked to be bombed out?
tall_tracy
I thought I saw the Big Dipper and the raging wolf-bobs.I can only see one coaster when I drive by but I guess there could be ones not visible from the road.

Gump
First place I ever rode the WAVE, machine thing. Bought lost my shorts. Friggin Cedar Point bastards. Na, I'd bought them to shut them down as well. Now, Sea World, i'm not sure why that closed. Spent many days there as a child and with my kids. blue-yamaR6s
Live 20 minutes away and it's sad to see it waste away to nothing. The Sea World side is now Wild Water Kingdom and they only use less than half the original park. The Wave pool is where the Shamoo Stadium used to be. I had many friends who used to work at both parks during the summer. Took a girl on a date there too in high school. I think Cedar Fair (Cedar Point) bought it and the eventually closed it. That's one way to do it.
max power
I had no idea they had so many rides. It always seemed so small.
