It's about a 30 min ride or so but the restaurant at the Nanthahala outdoor center has the best chicken biscuit I've ever had. Spot a sticker walk up introduce yourself, it's just that easy.Some folks will be early, some later I'm shooting for around 3-4 ish myself. I wouldn't feel right about taking your truck...unless I can convince you throw the 900ss in the trailer and come, too. I'll most likely solo it down there on back roads.
