Tpoppa
Bought this one a few weeks ago because my standards are low and why not... Actually, I let the wife pick it out with the only criteria being rear seat comfort...it came with a $700 Mustang Touring Seat. I also considered the weird 2014 Valkyrie F6C even though stock tire sizes are basically out of production. It was cheap, like new with low miles, so why not...

Popular Post Danimal
Just back to Ohio where I’ll begin prep for YT and AK departure on the 12th. I attended the Horizons Unlimited travelers meeting near Appomattox and had a great time hanging out with like minded people that don’t think you’re crazy for cashing in and leaving “normalcy” behind to create your own normal. On the way home I was hosted by Lauren and Paul Brenner at Rainbow Farm near the New River Gorge in WV. Aside from running an organic chicken farm and riding the world in their spare time (check out their YT channel “the other end of the Rainbow) they run the Appalachian Motorcycle Adventure tour company. Lauren took me for an awesome 250 mile loop through some crazy WV dirt roads. They cater to all skill levels up to hard enduro (they have one day ride with over 100 water crossings!). If you’re interested in using their services (highly recommended), their web page is here: https://www.appalachianmotoadvtours.com/ Some pictures from my last week Mystery hole! friend and we’ll-known motorcycle travel author Sam Manicom publisher Michael Fitterling Edited May 1 by Danimal 2
BudDaytonRat
I got Bonnie a new trinket. A new tank bag. My current bag is getting a bit long in the tooth. I went to Iron Pony more than 20 years ago and got a tank bag for my Bonneville. I customized the bag with some Triumph decals. I have to tell you darlings. My tank bag looks marvelous.
Pauly
I rode it around Bolivar area to let it get used to me. Stopped in Sherrodsville for fuel and some Gatorade. Should have done this a few years ago. 1

Tpoppa
Failed TIG Weld on my British Customs exhaust. Shipped to CA for warranty repair that will probably take 2 weeks to get back. I really like that exhaust, but a failed weld seems like half-assed workmanship 🙄 Good thing I kept the OEM pipes and have 3 motorcycles 😄
Popular Post Danimal
Weather for the start of the Arctic Circle journey was looking iffy so I did two things: I delayed the start a few days so I wouldn’t be riding through rain to start the trip, and I also booked a small cabin at Cannabis Creek Cabins in Luther Michigan. They are as affordable as a motel and includes a nice gift bag with some tasty treats! Should be a great end of the first full day’s riding on the 15th after an overnight stay at my Father’s. Sunny 2.0 is completely loaded and champing at the bit to get going. You’ll be able to track my progress through the Yukon and Alaska with this link to my Garmin Inreach Mini satellite tracker! https://share.garmin.com/HWJA4 Edited May 11 by Danimal 1 3
Popular Post Pauly
Amanda and I had our maiden voyage on the RT. We took OH-212/93 to Roscoe Village for BBQ and then came home via 60/62/83 into Smithville/OH-21. Good weather. Good roads. Good food. Good day.

NO, My Air Force Wife photographer was having trouble understanding the operation of my 2001 Kodak easy share camera.Could have been my instructions "1 Compose the picture. 2 Press the Shutter button halfway to focus and set exposure. When the framing marks turn green, press the Shutter button completely down." After three try's I was definitely RBF: Resting bitch face is a facial expression that unintentionally creates the impression that a person is angry, annoyed, irritated, or contemptuous, particularly when the individual is relaxed, resting, or not expressing any particular emotion. 1

Pauly
Had a nice solo ride this morning. Took the 542 around the lake to 39/212/800/22 - stopped for a burger and fries on 22 - then 22 into Cambridge to grab CR-21 to 77. Fuel in Bolivar and then 212/21 into Massillon and backroads home from there. Installed risers onto the RT and replaced the Ilium Werks highway pegs with the set I had on the GSA. Less is more. Ordered a backpad like the one that comes on the GTL for Amanda. My new Sargent saddles should be here in a week or so. Bike is just about cross-country ready.

Wahoo
Twisted sisters was okay but I wouldn’t ride all the way to Texas just to ride it. We went to Texas so my buddy could visit with relatives, and did the Sisters since we were there. 👍
Pauly
Same as last Sunday. Lunch in RV. Took the RT. Beautiful day. When we got home I took the Wing for a carburetor flush down the interstate. Ran her about 80mph on the way out and about 60-65 on the way home. She's got enough under the hood to tour at 90 mph, but shes really all about that right-lane, speed limit touring lifestyle. Amanda wants to get vintage tags, so I guess it's a parade bike, too. Next time you see me on it, I'll be sporting black shorts, white t-shirt, white velco kicks and a boomed 3/4 helmet.
