Jester_
Not sure if this is allowed, but here is a video of a failed filter from Daytona. MidgetTodd
I still run KN. Mostly because I don’t care and ain’t skeerd. Also because all my bikes use cartridge filters instead of those gay strap on filters so I don’t need to worry about busting a nut at the wrong time 1 1

DerekClouser
I totally would recommend K&N because being a sponsored rider, I'm obligated to tell you that. If, for whatever reason, you find that K&N isn't your style, I would recommend OEM.
serpentracer
oem. good enough for the M1 good enough for my bike. hiflow filtro is actually one of the best motorcycle specific filters on the market. first to pass the tuv tests. I’m pretty sure mine were made before they switched to the Chinese manufacturer. I bought a case of them like 3-4 years ago. Didn’t worry too much about using them. From what I understand, as long as it wasn’t made in China or Korea you should be fine. I think if it says made in USA or Thailand then its one of the good ones (supposedly made by HiFlo). I could be completely wrong, so do your own research of course. ?

cmh_sprint
I’ve run nothing but Purolator PureOne for the past 7 years.
mello dude
Running Bosch or Purolator... at about $6 or I can pay more than double for the Honda OEM filter... (Made by Honeywell or Fram)
Steve Butters
Whatever is cheapest. Usually Bosch or Purolator but I think I've got a fram powrsports filter in the garage waiting to go on... I know not to use k&n, but other than that it's whatever... I change the oil way below recommended mileage so I'm not worried about the filter being cheap
