My French Dip was nostalgic in nature and brought back memories of the 80's for me.

Like this Video, Yes it's real.

Thanks for the laughs on the video. The other part on my lunch choices is the fact that I’m cheap.

You obviously ain't in Tonik's gustatory league, Rick. Five pounds of lunch and hit the streets hard.

When is your first day back at school? Parenthetically, I love Arby's.

Gustatory, parenthetically- Ed remember I’m a math teacher that lives in Ashtabula county, on a farm, with a construction background = smaller words. August 28th is my first day back.  The kids don’t start until after Labor Day. We are building new elementary schools and they want to have as much time as possible to finish.

Don't know what grade level you teach, but I'm confident it's likely the type of math I wouldn't be able to do to save my life. We go back on the 15th. I live in Geauga County, home of the richest and poorest citizens in Ohio. We just finished redoing our intermediate school. I teach 12th grade CP English--parenthetically 😆

You need a 675R

Idk, I rode @Jester_'s the other weekend at NCBike. It wasnt what I remembered.....

I kinda like the idea of auto-blip which takes the daytona out of the equation.

I may get some time on the 675 again this weekend. We'll see.

I didn't think Dan's was an "R".  You can ride mine this weekend if you want.  Forks re-freshed.  New Q4's.

Maybe I'll take you up on that offer to run a few laps, if you don't mind.

Maybe next Friday you can give me a guided tour of your Hocking Hills route.

Let's keep an eye on weather for next Friday and revisit this plan of attack first of the week. I will look at the road conditions.

That is a long way for you to travel. We can also jump over into WV/PA at New Martinsville and do a loop and back into Ohio. I road east out of Proctor,WV on hwy. 89 Protctor Creek road last Sat. with the Wife and I can assure you that this would be fun at speed. Them 250 down to 7 west back to New Martinsville bridge is a thought.

New Martinsville is 3hrs. No different than New Concord, so that could work. What’s the farthest north eastern corner of your Hocking route?

It's not an R, but has ohlins suspension and the brembo MC which make is the same thing as an R.

But a part of me still thinks inviting new members to the forum and including new members  to ride is the only way to keep the community going. I still remember 10 yrs ago the OR group ride I could join helped me a ton to improve myself. @Uncle Punk babysitting me on my first good group ride. Jerry did the same for @TimTheAzn. I am pretty sure we all have tales of someone showing us the ropes. Less and less rides posted up. We can literally see the dwindling number of active new and old members in here. Heck I still pull over random riders who seems like they know what they are  doing and ask them to join forum and meet up for a ride. @Skinny guy was such a find, we would have never met unless took that leap of faith. Now One of my favorite rider to ride with and go stop for a fajita or a burrito.

I miss the old days of the larger group rides. Back then I had a lot more free weekends to ride so if the pace dictated that it needed to be slower because of who showed up it wasn't that big of an issue since another ride would be happening very soon that could possibly make up for the more sedate group pace.

I do have some guilt about using this group to learn a lot of the great roads and not reciprocating so new people can learn them all but I just don't have that luxury of spare time anymore. I have spent plenty of rides helping people get more comfortable at pace or riding sweep to keep an eye on someone struggling.

I am now mostly riding with people that ride the same pace that I do. Most of us have been riding a long time so crashes aren't common or expected even though we all know that they can happen at any time.

I agree with UP I liked the big rides we did but on the same token I got burnt out on that long stretch we had of several not listening to our preride speech about your own pace, leaving ego behind and such. Having a crash every single ride and several times in the exact coshocton corner that we specifically warned about. Just got old. That’s why I quit doing them and went to only riding with UP, Tim and Brent for a long time.
