well, i can't just say i would buy it since i dont know anything about this hypothetical car(that will more than likely happen), but the fact that it's an alfa or a chrysler wouldn't influence my decision. if it's a good car, it's a good car, no matter the brand.

Dave, srsly...Caravans have sucked since 2001. My 'rents are giving me their 2005 Caravan for free and they've had a ton of work (including a shiny, new transmission) with only 106k miles on it. (They're getting an Odyssey, and knew they wouldn't get shit for trade-in on the Caravan).

 

The Caravans of the '80s and '90s were indestructible tanks...the new millennium has not been kind to the model.

 

I can't believe I just said that much about a Caravan, but it needed to be said. Plus, even though it's a minivan I'm excited about a freebie.

my 94 went 455k before I sold it a year ago and the people are still driving it.(they live down the road) my 01 has 153k on it and has needed nothing but basic maint. The tranny's sucked but they were supposed to be revised for the 2000 up vans maybe I'm getting lucky maybe not but as long as I have kids and 10 tons of shit to haul around I'm going to be rockin a chrysler minivan, and if you don't want to drive that 05 feel free to drop it off at my house and I'll make sure it gets used
