i honestly have not read a book since the summer after HS (2003), and that was to re-read a book i read in HS (catcher in the rye)

i started a book about 4 years ago, got 3/4 of the way through, and never finished it. bought one about 6 months ago i thought i'd really want to read...a guy wrote it, and they say if they listened to his intelligence, 9/11 would have never happened. whole chapters of the book are blacked out on shit they wouldnt let him print...read one chapter, never picked it up since

i must have ADD or just find it super boring. i've tried, i just dont find it interesting enough

I'm the same way. I haven't read a book since '94 (HS). Just don't have the need to read one. Always been to busy or find something more interesting to do other than sit down a read a book.

Almost done with this.

It may have been a good read alone but after reading so many business related books about success this one feels kind of blah.

I'm going back to comic books.

You read Oprahs fake husbands book?

Read or listen to? Like you're doing, I do a lot of audio books, but in terms of actually reading, none. I've not read an entire book for nearly 20yrs. Can't do it. I would much rather listen or watch.

My wife and kids read tons of books. They each have a kindle or e-reader of some sort and my wife even formed her own book club that meets regularly, but not me.

Sad perhaps, but I don't feel there's much of a difference between listening or reading except perhaps time. I spend a lot of time behind the wheel driving and listening. No way I have that much time to sit and read.

I do not recommend. Seth is running out of ideas.

:(

I fear Palahniuk has also tapped the well. Though he's fiction. However, Haunted was at the least, discomfort-inducing.

Invisible Monsters was the last I read or his. I felt the same during that one. I'll give Bonsai a shot when I have time to not be in learning mode.
