I've only gotten to ride 5 miles so far, but it's going to be an absolute blast. Cordell Posted March 21, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 21, 2013 Thanks guys, I'm not a fan of the stock mirrors but not sure how I want to change them, that is something I'll have to ponder awhile. Brian, basically it's a sportbike without a body that you sit on in the position of a dirtbike. This has a very similar engine to the old R1 (current FZ1), but 779cc's as opposed to 1000. I sit very comfortably on this bike, when I ride a race bike I get sore and tired too fast. Maybe I'm just too old, but this is pretty fast adn comfortable. Have a friend who had an FZ6 and said it was an absolute blast to ride/crazy comfortable, so it sounds like yours will be even better! Congrats! The silver on there looks pretty darn good. BigOxley Posted March 21, 2013 Report Share Posted March 21, 2013 these bikes really intrigue me. i had a cbr600f4i and a cbr1000rr a few years back. i would like to get back into bikes, but loathe the riding position of sport bikes now and don't have the heart to get into cruisers. this type of bike would be a great solution. As far as I know they are making the FZ1, FZ8, and FZ6. Although the FZ8 is the only one without any windscreen, and has a fairly different look.
