I love my Mazda because it was one of the best handling compact car back in 2005 and still is. In 8 years, 112000 incredibly hard miles and two accidents, it has been pretty much flawless. It's still fun to drive, gets 29-30 MPG religiously, and everything still works on it. It's truly sad to see it start to fall apart literally before my eyes after all this time.

I loved the TT-RS when I bought it, and love it enough today that I have no plans to sell or replace it. I think I'll ride it out forever.

AWD.

6MT

Relatively lightweight.

Turns well, brakes well, goes well.

Nearly unlimited potential (Turbo & Fueling away from 630whp)

Not a terrible or uncomfortable place to be either.

Love the Mustang. Been a fun and most reliable car for me. It's not the best at anything but does everything well enough and can always put a smile on my face. Plus, it's faster than Jones.

I love my 2007 Subaru Legacy specB because it's the perfect blend for what I want out of a car. I look forward to bad weather with confidence the car will have no issue handling it. It's mostly over looked for having some pep to play with. It is the slow side of a sports sedan, yet people who know about the car really like it. There is not other car I'm interested in for a daily driver right now.

I love this car as I get to enjoy it every day and the family does not complain when we take it on family outings. When I had the WS6 there would be complaining about it being too cramped inside, too loud, too rough. It has a great exhaust note - many do not expect that sound from a Cadillac.

I love my firebird because I grew up in the 80's watching Knight Rider and Smokey and the Bandit. I like the sleeker lines of the Formula compared to the T/A. Its fast enough and now with the 6 speed its even more fun. One of the cars I miss the most is my black 78 T/A.

Love my blazer because its fun and I've always liked them. Best part is I have very little money in it.

I have a love/hate thing going on with my car. But since this is a why I lie it thread then ill stick to that.

My 1992 Supra

I love that ill never likely see another one like it of the same year since so few were made in my year. I love that it has a solid platform and has huge potential. Also the fun noises It makes and massive fireballs it produces since the turbo seals are slowly leaking mixed with how rich it runs. The heated seats are also nice in the winter on the cold days. It's a fun daily, but just unfortunate that the parts to go fast and fix it cost so damn much.

As far as my 07 Gsxr, I may be massive and it may only be a 600 and I look like bowser on a go kart, it's a hoot. It's insanely loud and gets twice the economy of the supra. It's a nice change of pace and a stress reliever for me.

Mustang - First new car I ever purchased, with the engine/exhaust/suspension work it's truely a blast to drive any time its nice out. Been a great care for 14 years and will be in my stables till I'm old and gray.

LeMans - Because big body old GM with a big block. Comfortable, eye catching, rare. Completely different respect and attention than driving anything new.

Stealth - It looks fast sitting still, looks nice polished, makes fun noises and reminds many good crusing nights in the early 2000s. Oh, and it hasn't broken any driveline components in nearly 4 years.

Merkur - Evil 80s ford escourt with fun stuff under the hood, what's not to love?

Syclone - Well lets just leave it at Syclone.

I love my car because :

There are not too many like it.

I have done all of the work myself, to include doubling the horsepower and learning to tune myself.

It does what I want it to.

It was the cheapest sport compact brand new with a boosted motor.

It has 4 doors but looks like it has two.

People hate on the car with a passion over the internet, but love to give compliments in person.

The looks on peoples' faces when they get beat by a Saturn is priceless.

So much win in this statement, it needed to be quoted.

The sad thing is, some times that's just not enough. There once was a day you pulled up anywhere and people respected it. Now those people are fewer and fewer. Maybe it doesn't go without saying any more.

Most people don't understand a love of trucks, let alone understand what a syclone really is.

I loved my Ford Escort Zx2 because it was my first car when I was 15, bought it myself, did all the work with my friends and it was extremely unique. People, good and bad, always had something to say about that car because it wasn't like anyone else's. (326whp/296wtq)

I don't entirely love my 240 yet...I do love the turbo setup I've chosen and I am getting closer with the car, but man, it's hard to replace your first car that you trippled the stock horsepower on.

I have loved each car, non POS, that I have owned. I have bought them for different reasons. My STI for autoX, my RX-8 for the suicide doors and to learn rotary engines, the Camaro for 1/4 mile.

That and I love making each one unique in it's own way.

-Aftermarket support is huge

-Every mechanic knows how to work on them

-Very reliable, not like having a full time second job to maintain

-I pass many just like it on the way to and from work, very common

-Goes fast in a straight line, does not turn

-Any parts store knows what it is and have many parts in stock

-Enthusiast community not a bunch of broke, petty, babies

It's love.
