mine are doing... ok i would say...

VFR

inspect sprockets/ replace if needed - done

New gold DID chain - done

EBC HH brake pads - done

Flush and fill brake fluid with dot 5.1 - done

flush and fill clutch fluid with dot 5.1 - done

install vortex billet keyless gas cap - done

replace water pump - waiting on water pump to get here

flush coolant, fill with engine ice - waiting on water pump to be changed

New Plugs - waiting on them to get here

clean air filter - waiting till i get the plugs to do at the same time

remove pair valve system - again waiting on plugs to do at the same time

put new tires on - waiting for warmer weather to wear what little tread i have left off before changing

HeliBars - holding off till summer to decide if i really want them

Add memory foam to seat - deciding if i still want to do it

F4I track bike

repair fairings - ehh half way there

paint fairing - above needs finished first

get new right side peg, been lazy on ordering it

on a side note i did get to finish some projects i wanted to do to my garage..

got the entire top of the garage insulated, added some support beams in the rafters since i thought it should have a bit more

cleaned it finally

and i got all my stuff now to mount and balance tires

got my balancer, wheel weights, bars, and adapters i needed to balance VFR wheels, one for BMW wheels, and one for Harleys... now i just need one for ducatis and im set

on the other side of the coin thouhg i still need to aquire a chest and back protector for track days. And i need to get a new jacket for the street, but i think i got the street jacket covered. going to order a dianese perforated leather jacket next week.

so hows everyone else doing... getting much done or just being lazy in the winter months

I have a slipper clutch to install, but just too damn lazy to do it. This is the second winter that I'm saying this about the same slipper.

Put the new slipon on the R6 yesterday.. even got to take a ride. It ran great, and sounded good 2..I debated on taking on changing the rearsets, but was too lazy. I need 2 change the rear brake line @ the same time, so i put it off. cleaned the garage though. Maybe do more today, but Ill b watching the football games, so time is limited.

Hoblick, if you continue on your long rides, I think you will really like the heli-bars. I have them on the triumph, and they really make a big difference. The build quality is great, and the adjustments are infinite.

i haven't got anything done to the bike other than replace handle bars and barends. my project has been buying a house.

hmmm I'm 0 for 6. I guess I should actually get busy doing stuff to the bike before it gets warm.

I will probably only get the clutch, tail light, and seat completed the other crap can wait.

-Coolant changed

-upper fairing stays cleaned and repainted

-Chain cleand and lubed and tension checked

-Starter problem fixed

-Throttle grip taken apart, cleaned and lubed. Snaps back now.

-Cables all lubed

Still to do:

-Sync and adjust carbs

-finish prepping plastics for paint, almost done

-Paint plastics

-Repaint passenger foot peg brackets

-brighter headlight bulbs

I'm sure there are some other small things I forgot. I just need to get remotivated to work on it again. Maybe this afternoon.

On a side note, need to buy a decent tailbag

And then I went and bought a 900rr and now I have no money currently to finish the build...

But the bike is SO AMAZING (check out "I made a purchase" thread in the daily ride) So it is all good, very very good.....

My project has been a bit sidetracked. See the "Valve Problems" thread. What started as a simple timing chain tensioner job, has become a valve job!

Prep and paint the Interceptor, on hold and probably not enough time now that I have to do major engine work.

Starter clutch for the Ninja. Not even touched it.

I REALLY need to tear into the Ninja to see exactly what I need ASAP.

The rest is just changing some fluids, etc. that won't take much time or effort.

None of the bikes need anything, except for oil changes before riding season. If I can find a replacement headlight housing for my 82 GS, I'll replace it. The reflective "chrome" on the inside of the housing isn't as shiny as it should be. The head light could be brighter.

Started to adjust the carbs today. Got the idle screws set close to where they need to be. Began to sync them but the sync sticks we not functioning they way they should. Got the passenger foot pegs brackets off and painted as well as the helmet lock.

-fix the jankity wiring for front lights

-buy a few bolts so the ignition isn't held on by zip ties

-find a bolt for my left fairing

Well lets see, this weekend was a good start.

Got most of the crap from the move that doesn't belong in the garage moved inside.

To get them out of the garage, I had to paint a dresser and fix a recliner. Then I built a bad ass work bench.

Now I need to tear down the WR and do a pretty complete overhaul. Replace steering head bearings (I think). Fix headlight housing and replace bulb. Modify/Fix turn signal brackets. Add quick disconnects for the lights. Replace fork seals. Clean/lube/repair anything else I find.

Next is tearing down the xr80 to see if it is worth restoring or should be parted out.
