What do you Carry CCW (PICS)

I usually carry a Glock 27 with cheap Desoto IWB holster (pics to come), but I saw the Springfield XDS in American Rifleman over the weekend, I am fairly sure I will be switching very soon.

Let me know when you want to get rid of your 27. I'd be interested.

...I'm in search of a good carry now.

Thats a nice piece... And i hate revolvers.

I was close to buying one though

I'm not a big fan of hammerless revolvers, but I like that one - a lot!!!

It's not a bad little revolver.

It's closer to evil, or maybe possessed. :p With .38 specials in it the recoil is controllable and kick is about the same as a full frame 40S&W. Once you put the .357magnum in it the recoil is very close to unbearable. The gun weights 12oz loaded so the recoil is harsh to say the least. Of all the people I have let shoot the gun, only one person other than myself has fired more than 2 rounds from it before handing it back. Everyone got to shoot a full cylinder of 38's to get a feel for the trigger, then the first shot with the 357 is followed with an expletive of some sort. I recommend to anybody interested in the airweight to go shoot one before you buy it.

Fun view from the business end.

I don't want to start a debate here, but what am I missing regarding revolvers?

Pros: compact. reliable. no magazine spring to fail (so you can leave it loaded forever without worry)

cons: fewer rounds. wider (at the cylinder)

Or is there some reason I'm not seeing that they're disliked?
