Verify the condition of the muffler bearings and the turn signal fluid. You'll want to stock up on spoke conditioner and buy a sprocket sharpener.3 points

So I am thinking as soon as this HD purchase of Ducati is official we should get all the HarDucley owners over to @Isaac's Papa 's house. Then all ride to Southeast Harley on a HOG meeting night and insist they patch everyone over.2 points

Best I could come up with: #1 Always ride your own ride. Don't try to keep up with faster riders. #2 If you're on the back of a bike, you better be holding a gas can. #3 It's your right to wear what gear you want to wear, but it's everyone else's right to think you're an idiot if you're not wearing proper gear. #4 Don't be a dick. #5 Always do the helmet tap to let other riders know about cops. #6 Never wave at scooters. If you must wave, wave like Jbot/whacky inflatable tube man.2 points

I think trails take a while to open, but once opened they dry out faster. I got into MTB last July so didn't have to go through that open/closed period. I was shocked this year at how often they were closed at the start of the season since last year they very rarely closed after July. If you haven't been to Huffman/Reagan recently, I HIGHLY recommend the newly added downhill flow section where that open plain was. SO FUN! I finally made it through all the trails last weekend there. Most likely will be there again Sunday and the 4th in the am. I used to think I had to go to Mohican for long rides, but it was a long ride at Medina and can always add on more loops there or head over to the Austin Badger trails if wanting more miles. Medina has it going on! https://www.strava.com/activities/10536446942 points

If you can't find a nice clean used motorcycle in this price range then you most likely don't know what your looking for or haven't soaked in any of the advice in the last 16 pages. All 3 of the bikes in my garage were picked up in this price range and I gotta say I have 3 damn nice bikes in my garage. All bought with less than 10,000 miles. Fuck all the little nit pick shit. Get something solid and unweathered you can jump on and ride. Lots of changes can be made down the road. Good luck.2 points

Also check and make sure the air has been switched to Summer Air. That Winter Air can rot the tires.2 points

make sure to find out what brand oil the previous owner uses, 1 or 2 of the major brands can run 0.5 - 1 degree hotter than the others.2 points

Your price is going to get you a beater bike. Unless you wait for winter than you can get some good deals. Sounds like you passed up a good deal with the Honda by being cheap.2 points

Looks good to me. Sorry you got offended with the ride the other day man. On another note, You're going to have to lighten up, get a thicker skin, & develop your sarcastic humor skills to get the most out of this forum. (UP- This guy's got a goat path bike & likes to ride at a touring pace, so the route is ideal for him).2 points

If you guys are having this event up North you will have to let me know where I can drop my truck and trailer off at. I'm not riding my bike all the way up there from CBUS. I can't keep riding the poor thing like I used to if it's going to be weighed down with 50lbs of chrome.1 point

Your twitchy throttle is from the etv mapping. Surprised it's twitchy if Freddie flashed it but who knows what map they put in for you. Are you able to flash it yourself? I'd be happy to send you my maps to try. Honestly not sure how any tuner can smooth it out on a dyno. You really need to be riding it and feel it while picking up the throttle mid corner. You can piggyback a pc on top of the flash without issues. I had a ton of popping before I put the pc and autotune on. Now it's very minimal. I have a 15 R1 and mapped mine myself with some help from Mark Junge. Send me a pm if you want to talk. I'll send you my number1 point

@RidersDiscount I'm hosting a motovlogger meetup in Hocking Hills. I reached out to Iron Pony for a sponsorship and they graciously have come to the table and donated T-shirts to every attendee, a few gift cards to giveaway and other 'industry swag'. Larger motovloggers such as 650ib (115k subs) and BeRad (350k) are likely going to be in attendance which could be great advertising for a small donation. Would you guys want to throw in a few items? I can't promise how big it is going to be, but it seems to be taking off. I had to move it to the parking lot that the Epic Ride was held at in Hocking to accommodate the much larger anticipated crowd. This isn't necessarily about the ride, although the roads I picked are decent, it will be much of a parade, (Which was why I didn't post it here.) It's more about networking the motorcycle vlogging community and their 'fans'. You can PM with discussion if you prefer not to publicize your answer RD. More details are on the Facebook event page. Everyone from here is welcome to come and get a free IP t-shirt and a couple shots at a free IP giftcard and other swag. FYI, here's the updated flyer. I plan to make a weekend trip and stay down there over night and ride a really nice route on Sunday to get the twisty fix in.1 point

This could be solid reasoning to put a Ducarley in the garage. Gotta make room1 point

So we need to take right the fuck over. Get elected to Pres and move the meetings to Starbucks. Require ATGATT on club rides. @jschaf will be our Road Captain and lead all rides. Keep up or we rip your patch and burn off your Tattoos with an acetylene torch. This will be Epic.1 point

Well this is a sticky situation now isnt it.... similarly to when IP and I...... nevermind.1 point

Ugh, I hate fringe. If only my hair was longer so I could braid my ponytail, wear a spaghetti strap tank top, some tight mom jeans with a thick-soled chunky-heeled non-riding boots, and finger-less gloves... and paint my bike all black...1 point

He could take the bike apart down to the last piece and put it back together again though so for him I doubt there's an issue.1 point

I thought that's why they call them Tuono's. Because you need Tu of them to keep one running. They do pull at your heartstrings though. Good luck with yours Jamie.1 point

Eh...actually, you might regret it. They're wonderful motorcycles, and there isn't a bike I've found that's more fun to ride.... ...when it's running properly. When service lights aren't lighting up the dash like a nuclear launch alarm. When it's not stalling at stop lights. When the rear brake lever does more than provide very weak calf workout and no deceleration...1 point

When you look through the member list, so many peeps with cruisers, they prolly not active because of us rookie racer wanna be folks always populating every thread with our inner circle banter and inside jokes. It's tough to break into such a hard packed close group of jackass friend circle who pretend to be sworn enemies here while being closer than family. Many ways this might be start of new revolution. @CurbedSedition Go ahead and post a scenic/ ride with a great route and stops. You can pm this angry grand father > @Tonik for help as he can give you a rough plan in 2 mins hope fully many more post up and make it a constant thing. Choosing slow or fun scenic pace should not be seen as something to be shunned at. It's a sign of maturity and responsibility.1 point

Haha don't worry @CurbedSedition you are doing okay, he was just being a punk oe thing I will tell you that helps is, posting a solid plan. Most times trying to discuss and getting opinion etc to come up with one plan fizzles out. So go ahead and post a solid plan as in having these details helps, date of ride route Expected pace of ride / style of ride time of start and expected finish time and location any lunch stop planned etc etc anyways good luck with the plans , ur doing nothing wrong. Wish more peeps would post up rides. On a side note, majority of active riders in here are sporty riders on variety of bikes. Almost all are atgatt and ride back roads at fun to spirited pace to "are u insane" . It will be hard pressed to find riders that prefer a casual parade style / cruising / scenic / group. ( nothing wrong with those rides, just not the active crowd here) but hopefully more rides like that are posted and more of those lurking peeps would become active and change the scene around. Good luck1 point

Trails were awesome, nowhere near as muddy as i thought, with all the rain Friday night. Keith had to pull a few down trees out of the way to get to P3 around 9am. So the parking lot was empty when we got there. I was wondering why P1 & P2 were so packed! We had 7 in our group, 3 bikes, 3 Trx700xx's and 1 Phoenix 200. My shoulder help up for about half the day. We rode from 10am till around 7pm, when my older boy cut a tire. Luckily we were only like 2 1/2 miles from the trail head, and it was a front tire. So it wasn't to bad for him to limp it back to the trailer.1 point
