  1. some additional new battery tech info released this past week: https://inhabitat.com/fisker-patents-ev-battery-with-a-range-of-500-miles-that-can-be-charged-in-1-minute/
  2. Too bad it's just a concept, I'd ride that. The Indian concept is kinda cool too... I like the look of flat track bikes.
  3. boosting your whoolie power by 100cc?
  4. In my experience all sarcasm does on the internet is start fights so I'm never sarcastic.
  5. He crashes a lot, but he is also crashing a lot less than he used to. He has started playing the strategy game to a greater degree as well. Hopefully he can keep his head and continue steady growth and not get himself into trouble. And I think the consensus was that everybody should stay off the 500 2 strokes, since they don't use them anymore
  6. Marquez has the talent and mindset to steal GOAT from Rossi someday. That said, I was impressed with Zarco this season.
  7. This thread is turning out to be a great example of what happens when you put faith in government to do anything right.
  8. nice one casper. let the new member threads age like a fine wine cooler before opening them.
  9. @jschaf time to upgrade the ninja?
  10. what

    Wow

    looks really vanilla. meh.
  11. Just saw your message, unfortunately I can't make it. Hope the weather holds out for you, not looking great right now.
  12. That sounds like racing budget to me.
  13. yeah but is it unrestricted?
  14. may toss a pair of these on the triumph next season. curious about mileage.
  15. Ride safe and have fun.
  16. Have fun fellers, I'm off to L.A. hellhole tomorrow morning. Post pics.
  17. WV-16 is an amazing road, can hook into US-421 (The Sssssssssnek) and a few other really cool roads on the way down too if you take the WV route. I'm trailering because I'm bringing the CBR and Triumph along with wedding attire. @jschaf - the CBR is yours as soon as we meet up in Suches. I'll have all my tools with me so we can set the suspension for you, I'll study up on how to set sag over winter
  18. Barber looks like a great track for the lower displacement bikes, not a lot of long straights and plenty of opportunity to pass. I'll check the race out tonight after work, I've enjoyed following Gavin this year and watching his progress and I'm really looking forward to seeing him on the podium every race next year
  19. Only place I've seen cops down there other than on the dragon is on Foothills, btw. Easy to maintain 100+ on that road if you're not paying attention.
  20. what

    Silly riding.

Honestly I'm all for adopting this graduated licensing system here in the states, and more intensive driver's education for anyone wanting to drive a car as well. It would improve everybody's lives out on the road significantly. Driver re-certification after 65 or 70, every 2 years would be a big step in the right direction too.
  21. CBR is back to Engine Ice and ready for the cooler temps.
  22. Unless I'm mistaken the only real way to boil your brake fluid unless you're doing something crazy is to have old stuff with water/moisture trapped inside. Weird for a brand new bike... leftover 2015/2016 with old fluid sitting at dealer?
