Sold the Concours at 2:30. Picked up the Goldwing in North Royalton at 8 tonight. Officially old Congrats!
B-Mac
Congrats. I guess we can call you "Dusty Durk" now. Get busy, Matching blue jean vest with wing ding logo and a stuffed toy bear for the rear top box. 1

Tonik
@TimTheAzn is right on the money. Once you are sure that it is the bike for you head down to Traxxon Dynamics and get the full Monty suspension. Makes the old gens amazing machines. Best part, the dragon and all that is otw back. Takes him a day to do it.

Now hold up you young whippersnapper, I still have the CBR. This purchase was to make the wife comfortable. It was tough to see the Connie go. I thoroughly enjoyed riding that bike for all types of riding. I have a feeling I will have another one in the future. They are pretty easy to come by on the cheap side as well because nobody knows what they are. Edited June 24, 2022 by durk

No doubt.

Popular Post durk
Spent 3 hrs on the Goldwing with my wife this evening. Close to 140 miles. Definitely not my normal pace but I think my wife now realizes what she has been missing when I’m gone for hours. Both of us had a blast.
Pauly
Perfect bike for 2-up trips. Glad she's comfortable. I hope you both have many miles of memories ahead.
max power
I got rid of the shitty trailmax missions on my Vstrom and had @ponyjr spoon on some street tires. it’s a backroad ST anyway.
chevysoldier
I should have added a throttle lock a long time ago, this is amazing.

I run one of those on my Valkyrie and have it set as a "dead mans" throttle. It stays where you put it.....very convenient..nice on the wrist.. I have cruise control on the Wing of course, but I still miss the throttle lock. On a country road or wherever I could flip it on and point to something on the right for the wife. JustinNck1
Went to harbor freight and bought some side luggage for the KLR. The luggage racks came with quick detachable plates so it makes taking the cases on and off a breeze.
