I didn't even bother turning the pro bowl on, I don't understand why they even have that game still honestly. NBA, MLB and NHL all have much better All Star weekends then the NFL, not t mention its a week before the superbowl so a lot of the best players arent even there

Yep and if you are throwing picks in a game where most play at 50-70% effort and no blitzing you suck.

The Pro Bowl is garbage, nobody gives a fuck. Go back to Hawaii and bring back the skills competitions, I loved watching those when I was a kid, especially the quarterback drills. Also the legends and rookies playing flag football on the beach was kind of cool (unless you're Robert Edwards).

 

The only entertaining aspect of the Pro Bowl was when Sean Taylor laid out that punter a few years back

Cam shouldn't be there either, Stafford threw for over 5000 yards and went to the post season. It's stupid they didn't send Stafford to Hawaii. Cam just took back to back sacks to Von Miller then throws a pick 6.

Skills comp is on nfl network midweek. Weird misconception that they dony have it

4* CB Armani Reeves committed to OSU over Michigan tonight.

 

Keeps OSU at 3rd overall in the recruiting rankings on Scout and Rivals and moves them into 3rd on 247.

 

Of course, all 3 sites still list WR Roger Lewis as a committed player when there's no chance he stays in the recruiting class. Doesn't have the grades and doesn't want to go the prep school route like Carlos Hyde, Cardale Jones, etc.

Be Cam Newton - break a bunch of rookie QB records, and also break some other, non-rookie QB records. Will critical acclaim, prove a bunch of people wrong, and have what most would consider a successful season. Be hated on by alittlelessordinary.

 

Be Urban Meyer. Will a bunch of games as a coach, including two national championships in four years at Florida. Dismantle in one of those games an Ohio State team that was being called the "best college team ever." Be considered one of the top five, perhaps top two, college coaches in the game. Be hated on by alittlelessordinary.

 

Be Tim Tebow. Have legions of adorning fans. Win games in a gritty manner. Be a good person and a good football player. Earn alittlelessordinary's hatred.

I cannot support this idea enough.

 

We talked about getting together in December, but then I think holidays got in the way. I'm down for trying again, though.

 

And weekdays (happy hour) work just as good - perhaps even better - than weekends for me, if that matters. But I could see us all meeting at a BW3's for our Man Talk meetings.

Idc where we meet up at honestly, I think last time we tried planning this we was gonna do Roosters? We could meet up in April on the day of the draft...thats the next day that really matters when it comes to football after the superbowl
