Mattsv8
My yukon got k&n fipk 2.5" skyjacker lift andbigger tires. Huge system Camaro is my main daily its already got long tubes ory catback slp lid bellows. Now I'm adding a 228/230 cam and I ordered hp tuners to learn how to tune it. Proably mid summer or over the winter it will be getting a 416" motor 11.5:1 ls3 cnc heads and some spray. If that don't say daily driver I don't know what does. The 89 blazer has my 355" 12.5:1 nitrous motor. .645 .645 284/286 dur .050 106ls yea perfect daily driver too. So what if my gas mileage isint 20mpg there fun. spankis
Daily is my Cummins, so far I've done: -Forged Power Wagon Alcoa wheels -EGR valve delete -EGR cooler delete -Turbo Back exhaust/catalytic converter and diesel particulate filter delete -EFIlive tune(s) -Soon to have a South Bend dual disc (necessary so maybe not a mod) Truck has only been tuned since January, and it's giving me around 18mpg on winter blend fuel, and letting it high-idle warmup for 15 minutes when cold. 20mpg should be easy this summer. Why don't you plug in your block heater overnight and use a plug in timer so that it comes on a few hours before you leave for work? Works wonders. Green Bastard
My dd yes, I try to convince my wife to let me mod hers but she doesn't like the idea. I just tell her everything I want to do to it is for gas mileage.

gbracing81
T/A has FIPK, MAF, T/B, intake, LT's, ORY, cat back, 9", shifter, D&S C5 brakes and wheels, front and rear sway bars, lowered and lower rear control arms. I also have LCR brackets but I have yet to install them. I drive it all year as long as there isn't too much snow on the roads. It still gets around 20 MPG which is about 4 MPG better than the Trailblazer.

Works wonders. Ordered the cable from the dealer, just haven't picked it up yet. That is exactly what my dad does though and it does help. Problem is that I have a work truck that I drive through the week, so my personal truck gets driven at random times after work hours. I don't really run on a set schedule, and there are days I don't drive it at all.
