What did you do for your ride today? (v3.0)

Installed the subframe connectors at Miller's today and took her for a long drive. With those and the new tires she sings around the bends.

Gonna tear into installing the lowering springs next time we have a cooler, rainy stretch so I can take my time and not sweat my face off.

Had a little fun run with a procharged gto yesterday above new Albany. Car sounded and ran good, but 4 tires hooking is better than two [emoji16]

I was finally able to get someone to fix the broken driver's seat in my '86 GT, Top Stitch in Plain City. Dude did a great job, even put more stuffing in the seat so it feels brand new. Plus I cut a new spare tire cover so the carpet lays flat in the trunk. I was also missing a bunch of interior screws, so I hit up Home Depot to replace those, that helped with some of the interior rattling. And I bought new trunk struts to help keep the trunk open, and fix the latch on the trunk, as it wasn't shutting correctly either. Still have a pile of little things to get to, but it's a start. Here's what she looks like now after the wash on Saturday:

Shined up the 26 year old finish with some Meguiars #7.

+1,234 on that thing looking sharp

Well done. Let it drink in the Meg's overnight as single stage needs the oils. Wipe/buff off and either leave it or seal it up. Of course, I personally would hit it with a polish / sealant or a polish then coating but whatever, it looks great.

Clean and ceramic on the ST, so it might be clean for a minute...

Finally ditched the OEM brake pads today at 66,000 miles. They were much thinner than I expected, but I guess I've cleaned a good half-inch of friction material off the wheels, one dusty layer at a time.

PowerStop ceramics on there now, so HOPEFULLY I will no longer have to be cleaning off the wheels twice a week or more...

Having 4 cars is dumb. Washed this and my other 2 cars plus the wifes. Why do I do that too myself? And I still want more... And now that the truck is running good I should throw it all out and start collecting parts for a single turbo 5.3l right?

Did you get your fuel injection problems worked out?

I am asking because I am thinking of putting FI on my 69 Camaro.

Yeah, pretty much. I was using a progressive linkage setup that is supported by holley but I removed it and and started over with the tune and everything is a lot better. I have a ton of time in it but it drives pretty good now. Its definitely not an install and forget it if you want it to act like a modern vehicle. Ive pretty much self taught my way through "tuning" it with the holley guide and forums.

If I go through with the LS swap Ill continue with the holley setup. Either a Dominator or the Terminator setup. I considered doing a bigger BBC build and use my existing EFI stuff but the cost to build a 600hp engine is as much as a sloppy build and it'll make those turbo noises I love. Let me know if you want more info or help.
