Canine? Like a coyote?

Without knowing much, I'd have to say the most dangerous animal in AZ is the rattlesnake... We have a few killers, pick one.. Or maybe mountain lions up north... We get wolves up north but they're not big

Yeah, I don't get it either. It says canine, which could be dog, coyote, wolf, whatever. There's a bunch of states where canine is number one fatality. Including Ohio, which I would guess is deer (large mammals). Dogs, deer, and cows, top the lists. Poisonous snakes is Georgia and California. Would also guess poisonous snakes in Western Arizona. Florida is insects, the only one for that (not counting killer bees). The odd one out is alligators in Missouri and Illinois. Sharks don't make the list. http://www.wideopencountry.com/u-s-map-shows-deadliest-animal-in-each-state/

Driving through Columbus never ceases to amaze me with the amount of people I encounter that should not be able to hold a drivers license. And it only got worse as I made my way to Cinci

Cage Drivers in general is one reason i bought an off-road bike!

We have a cool house now, I'm really happy with it.  One fun part it is being able to offer space to traveling musicians to crash for a night on their way down the road.  These are the guys I just met who are staying in the guest rooms.  Nice folks.  Hope they don't wreck the place while I'm at work!  :dunno:

That feeling that you get when you haven’t smoked in a while and then you smoke. Right there!

oof.....I can feel it.  I quit smoking 12 years ago, and every now and then still want to smoke the hell out of cig.  Back in my stupid youth I tried just about all of the recreational items, but nicotine is the most addicting drug I've experienced.  And it's subsidized with tax dollars.  Wait!  let me get my plaid paints up to my armpits, white belt, and start complaining about the government.....

I wasn’t talking about cigs.

Fell hard snowboarding at Holiday Valley on Sat. Racing some friends on bordercross. Caught a front edge and got thrown down very hard. Sharp shoulder pain, tried to ski it off for couple hours and gave up at lunch time.

Went to urgent care today after not feeling better this morning. Figured i just pull muscles or something. Ended up fracturing my scapula (shoulder blade). Found out that it's quite hard to do that and first time that provider has ever seen it. Have an early appointment tomorrow with a orthopedic specialist. Hoping no other injuries.

It's semi regular to find them around your house depending where you live... They're usually not too harmful unless you're allergic, kinda like bees. Although can be deadly for babies and pets. We probably find 3-4 per year in the house but never been stung... They glow in the dark under black light so we go out and look for them sometimes around our house at night.

We get tons of black widows too, but they never come inside.

Everything here wants to kill you lol. Even black ants will bite you, I had no idea ants bite people.

I used to think fire ants in NC, pfft.....Then the little bastards tagged the tops of my feet. Fever, rash, felt funny for a day and still got little red scars from the jerks.

Reminds me of my hand fracture. I hit it the wrong way putting something into my car after work one day, and I'm glad no one was around because I most definitely screamed some profanities before I teared up from the pain.

My L1, L2 compression fractures were a let it heal injury too. 10 months later still hurts like a mother fer if I do the wrong thing or move the wrong way.

Since we've moved into injuries, here's a couple doosies:

Compound fracture right tibia - I like to call this one my Bonehole, if only to gross out my daughter and her friends:D (cager crash, not our fault, killed my Aunt who was driving).

And, the super awesome belly zipper (another cager crash, not my fault, killed my grandmother who was riding with me).

So bottom line is people are stupid and can't drive.  I'm currently teaching my 16yr old son to drive - his birthday is tomorrow - and definitely stressing the need to watch the other idiots on the road staring at their f'ing phones.

I got lots more scars - chest tube hole, gall bladder surgery, arthroscopic surgery on left knee, and various chunks of meat removed from hands and fingers.

"live hard, and leave a well used corpse"

I sat on the new Goldwing with each of my daughters this afternoon.  I definitely see one of them in the future.  It will probably be a few years.

Sat on the new one at the IMS, have now checked it off my short list.  Didn't care for ergos at all or the seating position.
