BTW, I got a Sena now. So be warned, if anyone tries to pair with me I will shoot them. I know a lot of you have Sena's so instead of carrying my usual 5 shot 38 I will be carrying my 16 shot FN 45. With an extra clip.

Yea, rarely does it import the first time from Google to Sygic correctly. Always a few minor changes....I just add a few more waypoints to google and do it again. Sometimes it can be a bit of a PITA, and I have had to split one of my Colorado routes into to 2 parts because Google has a limit to the number of waypoints.

That meta data file sounds like the file it uses as you navigate.. It tracks your progress so you can exit the app at lunch time, start it back up and pick up where you left off. Are you sure you are putting the files in the right place? On (vastly superior) Android it is \Sygic\Res\itinerary

I wonder if the apple version uses something besides itf. Make a route in Sygic and save it, then take a look at it and see if it is itn.

Starting to sound like when you create them with ITN they are not properly encoded for IOS/Sygic to recognize them as valid Sygic files.

Sygic works just fine. I got 10s of thousands of miles on it. Dead Steve Jobs just doesn't trust you to copy files over. Security over usability in this case.

You can also put Sygic on an iPad, make the maps manually with the Ipad by dragging the route lines and save them to the iCloud, then they will iSync to your iPhone and theoretically iWork.

Sell the Garmin and buy a used Android on Swappa. Should have plenty of money left to buy Sygic again for Android. Just run it off WiFi. At least that way you will have one device that isn't useless. Lots of Androids are waterproof too that should be a treat for you.

People that are going should consider two things. If you sleep until ten you should expect to ride in the dark at the end of the day. And it will be cold in the mornings. Low 50's for sure.

Go to the store, add Supporter to your cart, go to check out. There should be an option there to use your points to pay for it. That is how I understand it is supposed to work, I can't test it because I already have Support so I can't add it to my cart to be sure. You have 33K points, it costs 10K per year so you are golden for a long time.

You got a boatload of points, you can use your points to get supporter for free.
