  1. The resistor is just there as a precaution to help make sure there is no interference, voltage spikes and RFI are just not good with electronics. Look at these. They are a heat range 2, might be a good starting point. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/atl-4062/ Edit: a little more research and it looks like an AR51 is actually a heat range 3 So try this. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/atl-63/

    NTR Pass

Buy a bottle of Boostane and bump the timing a little. Nothing wrong with the car as it sits.
  3. Basically the 6.2 with some more stroke and the same bore. No cylinder deactivation on this one either. Should be a decent drivetrain, time will tell.
  4. You would be correct sir. Not much more I can do over the internet.
  5. Any tire shop that refuses to use stick on wheel weights is dumb as fuck. Anywhere should be able to do it, cheap is a different matter.
  6. I got a nice pocketknife with my initials on it. I thought it was a nice gift. Personally I think the groom has enough things going on that it doesn’t need to be a big deal anyway.
  7. Assuming it wasn’t low on refridgerent (all you said was that you evac and recharged it, so I assume it wasn’t low to begin with), it definitely sounds electrical. Is this vehicle auto climate control? I’d bet it is. Follow along with what Craig said above, and use your tech2 to see if there are any DTCs in the ECM or the HVAC control module under the “Body” section. Then use the live data to see what sensor is out of range, it sounds like one of the temp sensors or maybe the sunload if it isn’t the control head itself. Just don’t throw parts at it. Pressure sensors are not common. It wouldn’t surprise me with a truck that age to have an issue with a slipping shitty compressor clutch that won’t stay engaged.
  8. Really considering doing the same. The roll race class for sure. Wish I had some decent drag radials that fit the Corvette, hate to buy some I don't really plan to use.
  9. Looks like a Corvette engine to me. :masturboy:
  10. Looked at them sitting in the garage, then I took a nap. Been feeling pretty car’d out lately.
  11. So nice to see everyone, obviously great to see Anthony doing good. The last of us sat there until some time after 10. I miss doing that on a regular basis but enjoyed catching up.
  12. So looks like this is happening in a few weeks. Friday night at Carlyle’s and then Saturday at Trails for racing. Anyone going? Anyone actually going to participate? I’m thinking about it, kind of on the fence about racing. Not like either of my cars would be competitive anyway. Anyone ever gone to one of these events? Looks like some test and tune mixed in, is it worth it? Thoughts opinions?
  13. There is no other one around Columbus sir, you haven’t been gone that long.
  14. Yeah seems like I just saw him at the dyno, first thing asked was how my car was going. Such a nice guy. More proof that life is short, you never know. RIP
  15. Heard great things about Lucore, although I never pay anyone to do automotive work so it’s just a 3rd party review.

Cool. Sounded like he needed a bunch of rehab, didn’t expect going home already, but I’m sure if I was in his shoes I would go right on home too.
  17. Best advice. Sounds alot like a fuel pump dying.
  18. Some good times for sure, unfortunately nothing lasts forever. Thanks Doc, I’ve missed getting to see you and hangout on Friday and Saturday nights recently. Glad you found a new place and I’m sure it’s “Doc Cool” for you to make the move. It needs a sign somewhere that says : DOX House.
  19. Pretty good look Clay I like it.
  20. They reported on the news of an unconfirmed tornado about 2 miles from my house (between Gahanna and Pataskala in Blacklick), but not sure it actually happened. It was a little strange to watch the wind pick up and slow down that much multiple times in about 15 minutes. Otherwise nothing happened and I didn't see any damage when I left for work this morning.
  21. I don’t see a Corvette in your list of cars.
  22. Maybe but doubtful. The wings of the “batwing” oil pan stick out pretty far on both sides. I’m not sure it fits anything other then a C5.
  23. It should, there’s something unique about the spacing, I think a shim is needed behind the slave cylinder. Not positive on how it goes together, but I believe it works.
