Your VFR? It's more mine than yours at this point. And neither of us own it. :lol:

Maybe we should let this one go.  Dude lost his bike, soon his pool table and all his man cave stuff will be gone. All he has now is poo filled diapers.  It would be the humane thing to do.

Pool table is only going if its for a car or bike. Man cave stuff has been added to in the last 2 weeks so wrong again

I love my street triple but if you're wanting something for long distance touring and lots of interstate miles, the wind beats the shit out of you at 80+. I don't think it would be great for carrying a passenger either, although that can be said for most sport bikes. For everything else it's been a great bike.

Jim, I have a 2013 Kaw Z1000 and a 2014 Suzuki DL1000 Adv. You are welcome to ride down here to Hocking Hills on your couch and we can take them both out for a ride and this will give you a little information on your next choice of bikes. You may be surprised how versatile the V-Strom is. Both have been upgraded and breathed on slightly but only for comfort and drive-ability. You will have to bring Donuts. PM me for further information if needed.

This thread has nearly as much "ghey" as the "Guess what bike I just bought" threads.

Go buy something that makes you happy and then post a pic!

So we shouldn't expect you to enter the Tesla or Ban contest?

The way I describe the difference in the C14 vs the FJR is the C14 is a true sport touring bike where the FJR I would call a Touring sport bike. Both bikes are wonderful and are awesome machine but I personally didn't like the FJ, couldn't put my finger on it, just didn't feel it. The Honda ST is a turd, super heavy weight in the class, under powered and I've heard the brakes suck ass. Viffer 800 is not for us tall kids if you ask me and I don't know enough about the 1200.

Don't FJRs weigh about 650 pounds. If a 155 lb man decides he really likes sport riding & hangs off a bit it would be like a gnat hanging off of my eyelid. Keep the couch & get a bike that weighs in the 400 something range for an alternate steed. PM me Tonik if you want to test ride my cbr or ninja. I'm only over in north ridgeville & there is a test track known as West River Road nearby.

If I were to go that big and that style it would be an H2.

The Ninja 1000 is not the superbike (ZX10R), it's a gentlemans sport street bike with normal ergonomics and a fantastic motor.  Think modern FZ1 with hard bags.

@jschaf has the same bike.

I hate when people bring up their own current ride as a suggestion for someone else.  But if you are looking for something upright/sporty, why go half ass?

If your handing out Tesla rides and doughnuts...just roadtrip to STL and ride my Zx-14r.  Smooth as glass, and it turns just fine!

Just add some bags, risers, and a new seat...you will smoke everything out there and then ride home in comfort.

**Start posting pics of some test rides before we vote for the banhammer**
