Whenever someone would yell for Mike, we'd all answer. Someone finally got tired of it and gave us all nicknames. Mine is the first 4 letters of my last name, plus a y. In 7th grade we all made our own teams using friends first initial last name. My last name would get truncated. Kid comes to school and says "hey whats up H willi" and it stuck. This was 1987 BTW.
