Installed a small Puig wind deflector. Same brand and tint as the windscreen and not as ugly as I thought it would be.

Did new steering stem bearings and fork seals on my sportclassic yesterday.  Been probably 18-20K miles or so since the last time.  Not too bad I guess.

Installed new foot pegs and made some compression dampening adjustments on the front forks. The bike is really starting to feel like my other FJR.

New deflector works well. Cleans the air hitting my helmet on the freeway and a quick twist directs fresh air right onto my chest. Lift the windscreen and it's whisper quiet, so weather protection should be excellent.

I have been using these for about 19 years on different set up's.

1. Nep Cruise Control

2. Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer

3. Motorcycle Cruise Control, Motorcycle Throttle Lock

They all work great. (YMMV)

anyone remember the OLD rubber band set up from back in the day?🥸

I’ve used the throttlemesiter throttle lock and really liked them, but they went out of business. I got a Kaoko ordered, good here you liked it.

Well, apparently today I wore my front tire out trying to lose this pesky BMW that was behind me.

Got a 4200 mile trip coming up, back tire will be toast by the time that is done. Just pulled them both off and will take them to Sills first thing in the morning.

Glad I always keep a pair around.

Changed the front tire replaced the front brake pads and gave it a good cleaning

Not much today, but the original key had seen better days, and I wanted a spare key for my Corbin Smuggler so I got some key blanks and headed to the locksmith.

I put a Mustang on the Voyager and it was a very comfortable saddle. It increased the seat height, but was shaped to allow my feet to reach the ground more securely. Nice design and good quality... for the 3 weeks I owned it.

Driver with backrest, passenger seat and the passenger backrest was 2 grand. They are all heated.

That is the going rate, it is expensive.

Migjt want to look at Russell Day Long for custom work. Also expensive and the wait can be long but they are the best in the business for custom work.

Two new tires, new upgraded cam chain tensioner, re-torqued steering bearings (after finding out the previous owner already upgraded to tapered roller bearings), new tail light bulbs, dif oil change, removed and plugged the secondary air system, and still gotta put the led headlights in. Dad helped me a bunch and got started on it while I was at work. Almost all back together now. Bar risers on the way too…

So I've been busy. Updated the Givi hard bags and top case. Installed some Brembo Italian goodness in the form of master cylinder and levers to go with the rest of the Brembo set up. Installed all the Trex crash protection. Knights Designs lowered foot pegs. Spec tech tank pads. Finished installing the braided brake lines the previous owner didn't get to. Still to come heated grips, vortex V3 gas cap and throttle lock
