What are your favorite beers?

I tend to gravitate towards hoppy beers, IPA's etc.

I will throw down any of the following: Great Lakes Brewery Christmas Ale/Commodore Perry/Nosferatu/Burning River/Oktoberfest and their pub only Berlot, Stone IPA, Breckenridge 471 IPA, Blue Moon, Sam Adams Summer Ale, Redhook Ale Brewery's Long Hammer IPA, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and many more from my travels that I can't remember.

I so want to try this due to all the hype, but I'm a bit scared because I'm a bit of a lightweight these days... :(

It can sneak up on you, specially after you get by the taste. But over all not that bad I saw a chick about 120 lbs drink 4 or 5 Saturday and wasn't to bad.

I'll be heading down to Cinci on Wed. If anyone wants me to pick them up some GLB I'd be happy to deliver it anywhere on my route down, I will leave around noon on Wed. The route is 301S -> I-71S -> 56E -> 62W -> 247S. I don't know if any of their stuff makes it even to C-bus. Shoot me a PM if interested or just post up here.

This will be my holiday hookup for the forum members.

EDIT: Only because someone will ask, no the beer will not be free. You pay for the beer and I'll see that it gets to you.

Peacemaker IPA

Stone IPA

Dogfishhead IPA (90 or 60)

Guinness

Bass

Those would be my "Top Five"[/quote']

I find a new reason to like you more every day. But that doesn't mean I'm going to blow you like jbot. :nono:

I am still working on expanding my beer taste, just dont want to take a chance on buying something i wont like and "waste" my beer money.

2 mass produced beers I like, Landshark and Bud American Ale

Smaller brews = Fathead's Starlighter, Thirsty Dog's 12 Dogs of Christmas, and Abetia S.O.S

I do plan to try 4 Loco this weekend.

Fat Tire for the mother fucking win!

If you've never had it, you're missing out. The closest place around here to get it is over in Lawrenceburg, IN by the casinos at a drive thru called "Whities."

Oh yeah, I forgot about Fat Tire. Good stuff. Havent had it in years but the last time I did I got severly wasted on it in Denver. Um, I think I remember I liked it. ;) - lol

From my time out in Europe- Bofferding and Jupiler for the "Light" beers, Guinness because it's always tasty, and Gulden Draak, Delirium, Le Chouffe, and KWAK for the beer boot.

Here, give me a Chimay and a Strongbow at Bob's Bar, and I'm already halfway to pissed. A good Christmas Ale does wonders for the constitution too.

They put on Breckenrige Christmas Ale on tap at my local dive, not too bad, Thirsty Dog's 12 Dogs of Christmas is amazing too and I usually get a least a 6 of GLBC's every year too.

Brooklyn Brown Ale, Edmund Fitzgerald, Sierra Nevada Porter Stout and Pale Ale are all great.

Brooklyn Monster Barleywine, Thirsty Dog Siberian Night Imperial Stout and Dogfishhead 90 Minute IPA are awesome big beers.

Bofferding..... I haven't thought of that beer for nearly 20 years. I spent a semester in Luxembourg. I'd pay big bucks for a Bofferding or a raw Mosel Wheat. Slumming it here in the states, I love the Anchor Steam, Shiner, or most of the Great Lakes. Of course Yuengling is a treat when east of home.
