sorry for the delay, a brotha tried to sleep in for once.

The ride started off well, a little late but oh well. starts out with 11 riders. Pearl (the guy on the busa) decided to join us at a gas station. he left before we got off the first at the start of the ride. That thing probably wouldn't have done so well anyways.

I have to send this cop a thank you card. He is a cop from Magnolia township. Rides an blue R6..........seriously I have not seen an LEO this friendly......an escorted ride at 70 on 35

Somebody called him to look for a bike (Tim's) with problems, and he was coming in a Ford explorer grey and I did not see him, I was easily doing 70 on 35 and when he saw us (I was trying to hide, behind all ) in the parking lot, he greeted and told us it's cool to see us in the area, nice bikes, glad to see you guys with gears, ride safe and comeback again in the area to ride and call him, if needed :eek: really it's more wow than wow !!!!!!

Really, I had this not so often happen realization: There are people who makes a difference and make world a better place.....and this Magnolia cop is one of them.....

It's not that he didn't tell us anything about speeding......it's the extent of help he extended to us, (even a custom weather report ),

Larry the cable guy here. Sorry I had to bail early it was fun for the one roads we got to ride before the rain hit. Stayed dry on the ride home for the most part. Still got home around 9:30 even with leaving early. Next ride do it on a weekend morning and I will be able to stay and play more. Good meeting everyone.

I'm sorry for everyone that had sand in their manginas for not posting pics but on the weekends I don't like to be strapped to a computer. I got home, drank a few beers and relaxed.

And everyone rode their ride. There was no "my balls. Are bigger then your balls" contest. Everyone knew it was a slow paced ride from the get go. There just happened to be a couple bizzar incidents.

Matt I got the triple up to snuff for doing ohio rider rides. I would not take it on a core ride yet?! Was a fun pace all the same for a shake down run of the triple. Sorry to see that more then one went down on the ride. Next ride lets do 536 or maybe 556 for fun..

Speedytriple let me ride that sexy triple last year - it was brilliant fun. Definitely in my top three bikes to replace the Ducati if that sad day ever comes.

Sorry to hear about the spills guys, and in my neighborhood too. Glad you're okay. I never expected to see Magnolia mentioned in a thread here - such a tiny unassuming place. (But it does have a Taggart's and a Tozzi's for your ice cream and pasta pleasure).

Yeah it has one of the best street motors I have ever had in the bikes I have owned. Pulls like a twin down low and has good power on top also. But the midrange is where it shines! Very useable power band for a street bike. Handles pretty well also. I just need a few small things to button it up and it will be back to the way it was again. Oh yeah and it could use a good washing also dirty british tramp!
